Michael Jodah

Hello, I’m Michael 👋🏽

I'm a Guyanese-Canadian environmentalist, social entrepreneur, academic, housing advocate and developer. 

My love for community and connection runs deep within my soul. I am a thought leader, innovator and activist-academic. 

I am passionate about many things — but foremost are poverty alleviation, community-building and protecting the environment. My current focuses are on educating young people about creating an environmentally sustainable world so that they can become the next generation of progressive leaders, and alleviating poverty and alienation through the development of high quality, community-oriented affordable housing. 

I have an extensive background as an educator and researcher. I am currently completing my Ph.D. at the Faculty of Education, York University.
